Vox Translate Terms of Service

1. General Provisions
These Terms are a legal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "User") and the developers of Vox Translate (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Application") regarding the use of the Vox Translate application (hereinafter referred to as "the Application").
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms of Service and any subsequent modifications, and accept all provisions of the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any of the terms, please do not use the Application.
The Application provides core services such as text translation, voice translation, image translation, document translation, and conversation translation. Service content may be adjusted as technology is updated.
Matters not specified in this Agreement shall be governed by Apple Store rules and applicable laws.
2. Service Content and Usage License
2.1 Service Scope
This application provides users with the following core functions:
Text Translation: Supports inputting or pasting text and translating it into multiple languages;
Voice Translation: Supports voice input via the device's microphone to obtain translations;
Image Translation: Supports capturing or importing images via the device's camera, extracting and translating text from the images;
Document Translation: Supports importing common document formats (such as PDF, Word, TXT, etc.) and extracting and translating text content from the documents;
Conversation Translation: Supports real-time translation of conversations.
2.2 License Grant
We grant users a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this application only on devices that you legally own or control, and not exceeding the restrictions of the Apple Store's usage rules.
You may not:
Lend, rent, sell, sublicense, or transfer the right to use this application;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain the source code of this application;
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of this application;
Circumvent the technical protection measures of this application or use unauthorized versions of the application.
3. Usage Rules
3.1 Permission Authorization
Using the voice translation function of this application requires microphone permission; using the image translation function requires camera permission; importing local images or files requires storage access permission. You can manage permissions through device settings. Denying authorization may result in the corresponding function being unusable, but will not affect the normal operation of other functions.
3.2 Content Responsibility
You promise that all content processed through this application is legally owned by you or has been fully authorized, and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights of any third party.
You may only legally use this application and may not scan, transmit, process, or disseminate illegal, infringing, obscene, violent, terrorist, or harmful content, nor may you interfere with the normal operation of this application.
You are responsible for the security of your own device. We are not liable for losses caused by device loss or information leakage.
4.Data and Privacy Protection
We strictly process your personal information and data in accordance with the "Privacy Policy," adhering to the principles of "legality, legitimacy, and necessity." We collect necessary information only to achieve service functions and comply with relevant international data protection rules and the privacy regulations of your region..
4.1 Data Security
We will take industry-standard measures such as encryption to protect data security. In the event of a data security issue, we will notify you and cooperate with the handling in accordance with the Privacy Policy and legal requirements.
4.2 Cross-border Data Transfer
Cross-border data transfer will comply with international regulations to ensure data security.
5. Intellectual Property
The intellectual property rights of this application's code, interface, trademarks, icons, etc., belong to us. You may only use them, but may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer them.
Content translated or generated by you through this application belongs to you. We may use it to provide services and optimize technology, but will not disclose it to third parties without your consent.
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We strive to ensure service stability, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for service problems or data loss caused by uncontrollable factors such as network or equipment failures or force majeure.
You are solely responsible for any losses (including but not limited to misunderstandings and business decision-making errors) arising from your use of the translation results (such as for commercial, legal, or other purposes). We only provide translation services and are not responsible for the consequences of using the translated content.
You are solely responsible for any losses incurred from accessing third-party links or services through this application. We only provide technical analysis and are not responsible for the content of third parties.
7. Termination of Agreement
You may uninstall this application and cease using it at any time, at which point this agreement will automatically terminate.
If you violate this agreement, we have the right to suspend or terminate the provision of services to you.
After the termination of this agreement, you should cease using this application. We may retain your relevant data to comply with applicable legal requirements, but will no longer provide data access services.
8. Modification and Notice of Terms
We may modify these terms as needed by law or business requirements. Your continued use of this application indicates your agreement to the modified terms.
9. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
This application complies with international data protection regulations such as GDPR, and your personal data rights are protected by applicable laws.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved amicably through negotiation. If negotiation fails, you may choose to file a lawsuit in a court with jurisdiction in our principal place of business, or file a complaint with the data protection authority in your region.
10.Miscellaneous
Matters not covered in these Terms shall be governed by the Privacy Policy. In case of conflict, the Privacy Policy shall prevail.
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Our failure to exercise any right under this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right.
